We offer a practical and comprehensive method of learning to be a yoga instructor. We guarantee you optimal personal growth and confidence along the way. We teach one of the more gentle, non-strenuous forms of yoga. No previous levels of fitness or flexibility are required.

TEACHING SKILLS

THE CURRICULUM
- Main yoga asanas - releases, effects, warm ups and variations for each posture
- Meditation - how to practice and how to teach
- Pranayama (breathing techniques) - their effects and purpose
- Muscles - major muscles and how to release them
- Posture and spine - what is good posture, why it is
important, common postural problems, how to improve posture and effect that
posture has on the mind
- How to care for people with medical conditions, injuries and pregnancy in class
ON THE JOB EXPERIENCE
Buddying up with a teacher, assisting, helping with administration and taking parts of the class. Professional Development days are held regularly for all teachers.
